How it all began...

A year ago this week I brought together a group of women to get feedback on my idea of a video series about and with female founders and working moms of the Hamptons. Eight women showed up and we had great morning!

What happened then was more than I ever could have dreamed of.
The community, the pure energy of being together, sharing stories and experiences, laughing and crying (yes, all in the first meeting) had me in awe. 

We met again a few weeks later and after that the idea for the Hamptons BossMoms was born. A membership community with in-person meetings. With the chance to connect directly with another. With the power to help us all grow together.

A year later we have 50 members, countless connections made, collaborations started, stories shared and friendships build. 
And we are still only just beginning. 

Thank you to all of you who jumped in at the very beginning, not knowing what to expect. Backing me up though the times when I was figuring out what I was even doing. Being patient when the tech was playing tricks on me. 

Thank you to everyone who joined over the last 10 months, after the doors open officially on May 13th 2023.

And to all of you following us along, watching and cheering us on from the sidelines: Thank you to all of you too. You are my constant inspiration to do more, do better and grow to make even more women fall in love with our community. Your input is highly valuable to me and I love to learn more about what you are thinking. 

A big THANK YOU on that note to Vanessa Steil from LivingInSteil. I invited Vanessa to our member's meeting last week, I had followed her for a while on Insta, really liking her content as a marketing wiz but also as a serial solopreneur always honest and open about her journey. Vanessa drove for two hours to join us and we had the best morning, within minutes we were talking marketing strategies and ideas with everyone. I know that her input was highly valuable for several members, but it was was Vanessa did for my thinking that I am most grateful for. Vanessa put an idea into my head that will change the membership to an even better experience. AND then Vanessa went on and wrote the sweetest blog post this weekend about her experience that morning. If I weren't this busy putting all these things into action I would cry with joy. 

This is what a community looks like, what it should do. And it makes me so damn proud that we are are all in this together! No, not crying. Got something in my eye...

Where was I? Right! We are getting ready to go though a big relaunch this May (for the official one year anniversary of the membership), I will be switching the tech again, so I can offer an even better member experience, more events and cooperation opportunities.
This summer will be epic and I can't wait to experience all of this with everyone.  

I did an Instagram reel today talking about this and how gratitude is my mantra for this month (and pretty much every month anyways). 
I visited a friend a Florida last week, she is a doctor for women's brain health and she had a lot to say about gratitude and it's effects on the brain. Changing a habit, training your brain to do hard things is a journey but a very rewarding one. 

So we are making it A THING this month. March 8th does not only mark the one year anniversary of our first ever meeting, AND of course it's International Women's day - BUT it is also the start to our 30 Day Gratitude Challenge. Go check out the Insta post for more on that.
